The inspiration for this trip came from a variety of places: a desire to travel the country, a hope to determine places of future employment, and a vision of an epic summer bonding as sisters.
As this trip has come to fruition, we have been inspired by lyrics of the Talking Heads' song Road to Nowhere which expresses our sentiments of being young, unsure of where exactly our next phase of life will be, but certain that it will be a positive change in our lives! Our blog name, Road to Paradise, stems from our desire to find our own "paradise" both in a physical city somewhere across the country and within ourselves.

- Get a feel for different cities across the country
- Eat local, buy local, be local
- Partake in informational interviews with inspring people who have interesting jobs
- Enjoy nature
- Never stay in a hotel
- Make new friends along the way
- Learn about each other and ourselves
