Pitstop (literally): somewhere in southern California

A mandatory component of a roadtrip is to stop at random points along the way—and this one certainly was on impulse! After driving for too many hours, we were SO in need of something juicy and sweet. Hence, when we passed a sign on the side of the highway stating “U-Pick Peaches”, we made a beeline for the nearest highway exit. Turns out we stumbled upon a great little place where we picked not only delicious California peaches, but also plums, tomatoes, eggplant, and even a few jalapenos! We continued to enjoy them for days and even presented them to our gracious hosts along the way! Best PITstop (get it? hehe) yet.
